What are the weekly rental Rates?
Rates vary depending on the season. There are 3 seasonal rate bands known as the Islander Season, Getaway Season and the Sunny Season.  For detailed information on rates, and a current calendar, visit our Rates and Availability page.

Where exactly is The Beach Hut located on the Island?
The Beach Hut is located on the Atlantic Ocean, just 3/10 of a mile north of Surf City, at 274 Seashore Drive, in North Topsail Beach, NC.  Click here for maps.

Is Topsail Island easily accessible?
The island is connected to the mainland by 2 bridges known locally as the High Bridge and the Swing Bridge. The Swing Bridge is at the middle (Surf City), and the High Bridge is at the north end (North Topsail Beach) connecting the island to the town of Sneads Ferry.

What should I bring?
The house has a fully stocked kitchen and bedspreads, pillows and mattress pads.  You will need to bring your bed linens, and bath/beach towels or you may rent them on the island.

What is the weather like there?
The climate is temperate and sunny year round, but changes with the seasons.  For detailed information about average temperatures and an up to the minute weather report, visit our weather page.

How can I contact the owners or rental agent?
You may rent The Beach Hut by the week, (some daily rentals allowed) by contacting the rental agent, OR the owners.  Contact information can be found on our contact page.

Are pets allowed?
We are pet lovers too, and will allow dogs and cats with prior approval.  An additional fee is charged, and renters are responsible for any damage caused by pets.   The Beach Hut is our home too for part of the year, so we ask that you only bring pets who can be on their best behavior.

What airport(s) should I arrive at?
There are two main airports in the area - Wilmington International Airport (ILM) and Raleigh Durham International Airport (RDU).

How far from the airport is The Beach Hut?
Wilmington International Airport (ILM) is about a 35 minute drive, and Raleigh Durham International Airport (RDU) is about 1 hour and 45 minutes, but is an easy and scenic highway drive.

How do I book my reservation?
You may make reservations by contacting either the rental agent or the owners.   Contact information can be found on our contact page.

What are the area restaurants?
There are many fine and casual dining restaurants locally, please visit our restaurants page to see just a few.

Tell me about fun things to do there.
While you are at The Beach Hut there is a wide variety of fun things to do.  To name just a few things: Surfing, Fishing, Boating, Shopping, Dining, Night Clubbing, Golfing, and Tennis.  There's even a small Amusement park, and other fun places.  Of course, the house is equipped with rainy day games, books and of course cable TV just in case you have a less than sunny day during your stay.  For more information on fun things to do, please click on the "Fun Things To Do" dropdown menu in the left frame.
